The story follows the tribulations of two women who find themselves involved in a grisly murder case.
Jeon will also soon feature in the film Revolver, alongside Ji Chang-wook and Lim Ji-yeon. The film reunites her with The Shameless director Oh Seung-wook.
After production is confirmed, the series is expected to land on a global streaming platform.
2. Crash
Kwak will play Min So-hee, who heads a traffic-crime investigation team. So-hee has a knack for solving traffic cases and her impressive judo skills also come in handy for her job.
Lee is on board to play Cha Yeon-ho, a logically minded graduate from Kaist – Korea’s top technical university – with an IQ of 158. Yeon-ho finds himself partnering with So-hee on her cases.
Meanwhile Heo will portray Jung Chae-man, So-hee’s boss in the traffic crime team. A veteran detective known for being competitive, Chae-man stands up to corruption in the police force.
3. The Hooligans
Set in the 1970s, the show follows a young man and his uncle who team up to sell fake goods in a bid to escape penury. The pair eventually get an opportunity to go searching for treasure and don’t hesitate.
4. Climax
Kingdom actor Ju Ji-hoon is mulling over an offer to appear in the streaming series Climax.
The series will be written and directed by Lee Ji-won, known for her breakout debut film Miss Baek, which starred Han Ji-min. Her second film, Portrait of a Family, with Ryoo Seung-ryong and Ha Ji-won, is currently awaiting release. Climax will mark her first drama series.
Beyond its director and production company (Hive Media Corp, which is responsible for the current box office sensation 12.12 The Day), no details about the project’s plot have so far been made public.
