Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 0.41%.

The best performers of the session on the were MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.84% or 5.50 points to trade at 61.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Chemical Company (TADAWUL:) added 9.53% or 0.43 points to end at 4.94 and Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 5.36% or 5.80 points to 114.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ADES Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 2.92% or 0.60 points to trade at 19.94 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:) declined 2.46% or 4.60 points to end at 182.40 and Arabian Drilling Co (TADAWUL:) was down 2.07% or 3.60 points to 170.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 194 to 83 and 19 ended unchanged.

Shares in Middle East Healthcare Co CJSC (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; gaining 5.36% or 5.80 to 114.00.

Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.91% or 1.41 to $72.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.31% or 1.03 to hit $77.67 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.68% or 14.00 to trade at $2,057.10 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was down 0.71% to 4.05, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.93% at 103.82.
