Mark Wahlberg’s youngest child, Grace, 13, is preparing to become an equestrian.

In an interview with E! News last week, The Departed actor spoke about his daughter’s passion for horses and how she wants to pursue her hobby professionally in the years to come.

“My daughter, believe it or not, is more disciplined than me,” Wahlberg said. “I didn’t adopt that kind of discipline until I was in my 30s, and I had to do it because of work.” He added, “And now, she does it on her own because she wants to be an Olympian.”

Grace is one of four children in the Wahlberg household. The Ted star has three other children – Michael, 17, Brendan, 15, and Ella, 20 – with his long-time wife, the model Rhea Durham.

Ella Wahlberg has famous parents

Ella Wahlberg is the daughter of Hollywood veteran Mark Wahlberg, 52, and his wife, Rhea Durham, 45, who he married in 2009.

Wahlberg and Durham have been together for over two decades, per People.

They welcomed their first baby, Ella, on September 2, 2003. Tragically, it was the same day that Wahlberg’s older sister Deborah died of a heart attack at age 43, per the same source.

She’s at university

Ella is living the university life! Per Greenville, she is currently enrolled as a student at Clemson University in Upstate South Carolina.

In a previous interview with Ryan Seacrest when Ella turned 18, Wahlberg joked: “Now I literally have no authority over her until she realises she needs me financially.”

Per People, Ella and her dad share a passion for fashion.

The Boogie Nights actor and former rapper once told People that his daughter bought an old Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch T-shirt from a vintage store.

“She’s been rocking it like crazy,” he said, “She was really rocking [it] with me … It’s nice to have [her celebrate] some of my past. That was actually a very nice little moment for me.”
