Escorts Kubota to increase tractor prices from May 1



Engineering conglomerate Escorts Kubota on Monday announced a forthcoming increase in the prices of their tractor range starting May 1, 2024.
The company’s agri-machinery division is set to implement these price adjustments, which will vary across different models, variants, and regions. However, the specific percentage of the price hike has not been disclosed.

Currently, the company’s shares are trading 2.11% higher at Rs 3,173.25 each on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Last month, the company also recorded its total tractor sales at 8,587, down 16.7 per cent from 10,305 tractors sold in March 2023.

Further, domestic tractor sales were down 16.1 per cent at 8,054 units as against 9,601 tractors sold in March 2023.
