- Amazon Web Services (NASDAQ:AMZN) will start allowing its Bedrock customers to begin importing and accessing their own custom models as a fully managed application programming interface within Bedrock, the company announced Tuesday.
- “With this new capability, AWS makes it easy for organizations to choose a combination of Amazon Bedrock models and their own custom models via the same API,” the press release reads.
- The Amazon Bedrock Custom Model Import is now available in preview and supports three open model architectures, including Hugging Face’s Flan-T5, Meta Platforms’ (META) Llama and Mistral.
- Also today, Amazon released its Titan Image Generator, and said it plans to release the Titan Text Embeddings V2 next week.
- Meta’s Llama 3 models are also now available on Amazon Bedrock.
- In addition, Amazon released Guardrails today, which is intended to help block harmful, AI-generated content.
- Amazon ticked up about 1% by early afternoon trading.
