Amateurs York Acorn visit Halifax in Challenge Cup

Amateur side York Acorn are to face five-time Challenge Cup winners Halifax in the fifth round of the competition.

The National Conference League Premier Division side beat league rivals Wath Brow Hornets 32-28 to earn a trip to the Shay.

Last year’s relegated Super League side Wakefield Trinity will visit fellow Championship side Featherstone Rovers.

Second-tier Sheffield visit League One Swinton and Widnes play Batley in another all-Championship tie.

Ties will take place over the weekend of 9-10 March, with BBC Sport to select one match to be streamed live on BBC iPlayer, the BBC Sport website and app.

The 12 Super League sides will join the competition in the next round.
